Grupo Galileo Inc. was founded in Fresno, California, inspired by the belief that no one should be defined by their current circumstances and that every individual deserves the opportunity to build a brighter future.
As we looked closely at the challenges faced by people experiencing vulnerability and hardship, a fundamental question emerged: How can empathy be transformed into meaningful action that creates lasting change? The answer was to establish an organization dedicated to connecting the generosity of the community with those who need support, hope, and new opportunities the most.
Behind this vision is Gilbert Castanon, founder of Grupo Galileo Inc. His experience as a Mexican American entrepreneur and psychology-trained professional strengthened his commitment to human dignity, opportunity, and the transformative power of community.
